ABSENTEE BY MAIL APPLICATIONS AND INFORMATION
The deadline for absentee ballot applications to be received and approved in the Election Office was 11:59 pm, Thursday, October 24. Early voting in person and on Election Day are both still available.
You can submit an application online at Indianavoters.in.gov OR you can request an application be mailed to you by calling the Election Office at 812-435-5123 OR print an application here and mail it to Vanderburgh County Election Office, P.O. Box 3343, Evansville, IN 47732-3343.
Absentee by Mail Voters are now required to provide identification information by either:
- Providing IN Driver License/IN ID Card Number, Unique Voter Registration Number, or Last 4 digits of Social Security Number. One of these numbers must match the number used when registering to vote.
- Submitting a photocopy of your valid IN Driver License/IN ID Card or other form of ID that complies with Indiana Voter ID Law.
You must also meet at least one of 13 qualifying excuses on Election Day. You can find the list HERE.
All completed applications must be received and approved in the Election Office by 11:59 p.m., Thursday, October 24.
